Now that I have finished my B.A. degree, it is time for me to prepare for the Navy. All this means is that I need to exercise like an insane person and obtain all promissory notes from my lenders so that the Navy can pay off my student loans. What a great perk for serving your country, eh. ^_^
I've received two out of three promissory notes and am now upset with Sallie Mae's tardiness. It's been nearly three weeks now and still I haven't received anything from them. They were the ones who refused to fax it to my recruiter and insisted that I wait for the U.S. Postal Service to take care of the delivery. Seriously, who trusts those guys with anything other than their bills nowadays, and even that has gone digital. Yet, SM claims they do this for security purposes so I have no choice but to wait. Well, I will be calling them later this week if I don't see anything in the mail. I can't afford to wait much longer.
Other than that I can do whatever I want! It feels so great to be able to do nothing and not worry about homework or class times. There are some unfinished projects that needs to be taken care of, such as Kara's Bag, Little HawkBaby's doll, and some scarves that I started on three years ago. Seriously, I am way behind on my crafts. Plus, there are some books that I have started reading that need finishing. Now I have the time to do almost all of it before I leave for the Navy! Yay!!!!!! Isn't life after college just wonderful! I think so. ^__^

After I've graduated, the first thing I felt relieved of was homework! I felt ever so free... But then, I faced new challenges ahead. It's all good - everything that make you a better person.
Good luck in the Navy, my friend! :)
Good luck with tasks! and many congrats on graduation! :)
Debt free? What?! Nobody told me the military could do that. Good luck with everything and no rush on HawkBaby's doll. We'll still be around. : )
