I'm A Sailor Now!

HOOYAH! I'm a U.S. Navy Sailor! Just graduated from Basic Training today. Yes, I am that awesome! ^_^

My Last Post...For now. :-)

No worries, I shall return. I leave for the Navy on Monday and so during the next 8 weeks I will be without modern technology such as cell phones and computers. However, upon my return I will be posting once again.

I wrote a similar post about my departure on Xanga but the tone was different. Mainly because I'm getting sick of Xanga and the constant drama that circulates on that site. What's worse is that the majority of members either don't want to change it for the better or those that do end up leaving (like myself and several of my friends). No wonder Blogger, Facebook, Twitter, and even MySpace are doing better financially than Xanga. Hmm....something to think about?

Well anyway, I will be getting in shape and formed into a Sailor while I'm gone. I hope that everyone has a Wonderfully Happy New Year! ^_^

Spending Time With My Family

As I've stated before, my birthday/Christmas gift from the boyfriend was a trip to GA to spend time with my family
before I leave for the Navy. Yesterday evening I returned home to a winter wonderland and decided to create for our
mother a gift that she can enjoy anytime she wants: a photo collage of the three of us. I had to purchase Photoshop
Elements (PSE) again because the previous version was for Windows and I am now using a Mac. Plus, it's the newest
version so it wasn't a total waste of money .
